Paris Saint-Germain’s transfer window could accelerate very quickly. While Lee Kang-in is moving closer to an exit, notably toward Atlético Madrid, Paris are also pushing ahead with the Maghnes Akliouche deal. It is looking more and more like a changing of the guard in the attacking department.
Lee is leaving, Akliouche is arriving: PSG are preparing their big transfer-window move. According to L’Équipe, the Akliouche deal should come in below the €70 million mark. A major fee, but one considered more affordable for PSG, especially in a market where prices are exploding for young attacking talents.
Akliouche Gives PSG His Priority
The AS Monaco player has already made his choice: his priority is Paris Saint-Germain. Behind the scenes, talks are continuing between Paris, Monaco and the player’s entourage. And the deal could now move very quickly.
A source close to the negotiations even believes that “things could move very fast” in the coming days. PSG therefore seem ready to accelerate in order to complete the arrival of a creative, young profile who is already well established in Ligue 1.
This Parisian push comes as Lee Kang-in is being reported as very close to Atlético Madrid. According to Marca, the South Korean is expected to be officially announced soon by the Madrid club, at the same time as Alex Grimaldo. Paris are therefore already preparing for life after Lee, and Akliouche appears to be the ideal replacement to strengthen Luis Enrique’s attacking options.
