Antoine Kombouaré could already leave Paris FC. Although he was expected, barring a dramatic twist, to be present when training resumes on Wednesday, the situation has become seriously tense behind the scenes.
Kombouaré already under threat, Paris FC is preparing a major change of direction. According to Daniel Riolo, the Parisian club is not ready to accept all of Kombouaré’s demands. As a result, the situation is becoming more complicated, and a coaching change is now possible.
Liam Rosenior now leading the race
According to Fabrice Hawkins, Paris FC is moving toward a change on its bench. Several profiles have already been met by the club’s management, including Liam Rosenior, who is now in pole position to take the job. The former Strasbourg coach, dismissed by Chelsea, could therefore return to Ligue 1 sooner than expected.
Paris FC could therefore start its season with a new coach. It would be a brutal turnaround, as Kombouaré still seemed set to be there for the return to training. This story may only just be beginning.
