Paris FC has postponed the return of its players by eight days. Initially expected earlier, training is now scheduled to resume on July 9. This delay mainly confirms that the Parisian club is going through a very turbulent period behind the scenes.
Paris FC is in full chaos: the return to training has been postponed, according to L’Équipe.
Liam Rosenior Moves Closer to the Paris FC Bench
The coaching situation is now at the center of attention. Liam Rosenior is expected to become the new Paris FC manager in the coming days. According to L’Équipe, the English coach wants to arrive with a large staff, made up of six to eight people.
Antoine Kombouaré could therefore leave Paris FC before even truly launching the season. While he was expected to be present for the return to training, unless there was a major twist, tensions with the club’s management have seriously increased. According to Daniel Riolo, the club is not ready to accept all of Kombouaré’s demands. As a result, the situation has become more complicated, and a coaching change is now clearly being considered.
According to Fabrice Hawkins, Paris FC has already met several profiles to replace Kombouaré. Liam Rosenior is currently in pole position. The former Strasbourg coach, dismissed after the takeover by Chelsea, could therefore very quickly return to a Ligue 1 bench. The saga is not over yet, but Paris FC already seems to be preparing for a major turning point.
