Gabriel Moscardo could already be leaving PSG for the third summer in a row. Signed as a major Brazilian prospect, the 20-year-old defensive midfielder may continue his development away from Paris next season.
Gabriel Moscardo has still never worn the PSG shirt. And that may not change this season either. According to Fabrizio Romano, Espanyol are closing in on an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Gabriel Moscardo on loan. The deal is progressing quickly and has also been reported by Diario AS and Benjamin Quarez.
A Loan Deal Almost Completed
The Spanish club, driven by its director Monchi, has reportedly made Moscardo an important target to strengthen its midfield. The operation would be a loan deal, with Espanyol covering the player’s salary.
For PSG, this temporary departure would allow the young midfielder to gain playing time while he continues his development. Blocked by competition in the Paris midfield, Moscardo could find the ideal environment in La Liga to play regularly.
Barring a late twist, the agreement is now close to being finalized. Gabriel Moscardo is therefore heading toward Espanyol, with the aim of gaining experience before returning to PSG better prepared.
