Already in advanced talks, the Spanish international has agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 side, and a loan deal is now on the table after a change of stance from Barça.
Loan instead of permanent deal
Initially, Barcelona wanted a permanent transfer. But faced with a lack of offers, the club has softened its position. According to recent reports, a loan with partial wage coverage is now being finalized between the two clubs.
Monaco means business
After reaching a deal with Paul Pogba, Monaco is keen to add Fati to its Champions League-bound squad. The club is targeting experienced players to strengthen the team for the upcoming season.
With just 11 appearances last season, Fati sees this as a crucial opportunity to revive his career — and Monaco may be the perfect stage.
