Real Madrid are moving forward under pressure. Facing Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday (9pm), Los Blancos will have to deal with a significant risk: potential suspensions.
If they receive a yellow card, six players could miss the return leg in Germany, scheduled for April 15. The players concerned are Alvaro Carreras, Dean Huijsen, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, and Kylian Mbappé.
Risk of missing key players in the return leg
This situation could become a real headache for Alvaro Arbeloa, who will need to strike the right balance between intensity and caution in this high-stakes European clash.
On the Bavarian side, the situation is less concerning: only Dayot Upamecano and Konrad Laimer are at risk of suspension.
