On the eve of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg between Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool FC, Christophe Dugarry shows complete confidence… and speaks with no filter.

PSG already in the semi-finals? According to Christophe Dugarry, it’s almost a definite yes. Paris is expected to make short work of a struggling Liverpool side. “It’s going to be a walk in the park, honestly. Liverpool are catastrophic. 14 wins, 10 losses and 7 draws since the start of the league season.”

PSG Seen as Overwhelming Favorites Against Struggling Liverpool

“They are disastrous. I won’t say they have bad players, but they don’t play together. In my opinion, the gap in quality is enormous. I think PSG will wrap up the quarter-final in the first leg.”

The 1998 World Cup winner doubles down by highlighting Liverpool’s lack of intensity compared to a PSG side he believes is hitting top form. “Have you watched Liverpool play? They’re catastrophic! They’ve got no legs, nothing. Technically, they have good players, they’re not clumsy, but they play at half pace. When you see the intensity PSG can bring today, with fresh legs, strong mentality and everything they’ve regained… there’s no comparison. This is going to be a massacre!”

These very strong statements set the tone ahead of this European clash, especially coming from Dugarry, who is usually highly critical of PSG.
