The story between Paris Saint-Germain and Gonçalo Ramos appears to be nearing its end. According to several Portuguese and Italian media outlets, the Portuguese striker believes his time in Paris has reached a turning point and is now open to leaving during the summer transfer window.
Despite helping PSG win two Champions League titles, the former Benfica forward has never fully established himself as an undisputed starter under Luis Enrique. Eager to regain a leading role, Ramos does not want to create tension with the club and is simply waiting for the right opportunity alongside his agent, Jorge Mendes.
AC Milan Ready to Make Their Move
That opportunity could come from Italy. According to Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan has identified Gonçalo Ramos as one of its top attacking targets. New head coach Ruben Amorim is said to be a strong admirer of the striker and has already approved the move internally.
To convince Ramos, the Rossoneri are reportedly prepared to offer him a salary of around €5 million per season. It is a significant financial commitment that highlights Milan’s determination to make a major statement in the transfer market.
PSG is no longer completely opposed to a sale and would reportedly consider offers in the region of €40 million, considerably less than the €65 million invested to sign the Portuguese international. However, Milan must first sell Santiago Giménez to finance the deal. Orlando City is reportedly preparing an offer worth between €25 million and €30 million for the Mexican striker, a move that could trigger a domino effect and turn the Ramos transfer saga into one of the biggest stories of the summer window.
