Chelsea is going big this summer. Fresh off their Club World Cup triumph, the Blues are undergoing a major squad overhaul under new manager Enzo Maresca.
According to Nicolò Schira, 16 players have been put on the transfer list, with the club aiming to offload them quickly. The names include Renato Veiga, Disasi, Sarr, Badiashile, Chilwell, Sterling, Nkunku, Jackson, and Broja. After splashing nearly €250 million (£210m) already — and with Jorrel Hato and Xavi Simons still expected — Chelsea is now focused on clearing out the surplus.
Over €150M (£125m) Already Recouped
The Blues have already generated €150 million (£125m) in sales from Madueke, João Félix, Petrovic, Amougou, Humphreys, Kepa, and Bettinelli. Meanwhile, Mike Penders and Kendry Páez have been loaned to Strasbourg.
With Chelsea looking to balance their books and streamline their squad, the clearout is only just beginning at Stamford Bridge.
