Rasmus Højlund makes his stance clear amid striker competition. He is not leaving Manchester United.
Rasmus Højlund (22, 52 appearances, 10 goals in all competitions for the 2024-2025 season) has confirmed he has no intention of leaving Manchester United, even as the club targets RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško in a deal that could exceed €80 million (£68m).
“My plan is very clear: stay and fight for my place, no matter what,” the Danish striker told reporters. “Competition suits me. It pushes me to be sharper. I’m ready.”
Despite United’s recent attacking signings — Matheus Cunha for €74.2m (£63m) and Bryan Mbeumo for €83.5m (£71m) — Højlund is determined to prove himself and remain in Erik ten Hag’s plans.
