Uncertainty surrounds Robert Lewandowski’s future at Barcelona. Despite being under contract until June 2026, the 36-year-old striker gave a mysterious response when asked about what’s next — especially with new attacking arrivals at the club, including Marcus Rashford.
“What matters is what’s in my heart and mind”
Currently on tour in Japan with Barça, Lewandowski was questioned about whether the 2024–2025 campaign could be his last at the club. His response? Vague at best: “I don’t know if this will be my final contract year. What happens at the end of the season doesn’t matter right now. What matters is what I have in my heart and my head,” said the former Bayern Munich star.
Still going strong
After a stunning season — 52 matches, 42 goals in all competitions — Lewandowski has proven he still has what it takes at the highest level. A contract extension isn’t out of the question… but neither is a surprise exit.
For now, the Polish legend is keeping everyone guessing.
