Could another French international soon join Paris Saint-Germain? The Manu Koné link has resurfaced, although not necessarily because of any concrete move from the Parisian club.
PSG continue to be linked with several French internationals in the transfer market, and this time it is Manu Koné’s name that is once again being mentioned in connection with the French champions.
Manu Koné Open to a PSG Move
Under contract with AS Roma until 2029, the 25-year-old midfielder could leave Italy this summer. The Roman club is looking to generate funds before the end of June, and the former Toulouse player is considered one of the most likely candidates to be sold.
According to reports in Italy, the French international would welcome a move to PSG. The prospect of working under Luis Enrique and joining the reigning European champions is said to be particularly appealing to the midfielder.
However, despite the player’s reported interest, a deal appears far from imminent. While PSG have been linked with Koné in the past, the club is not currently expected to make a concrete move for him during this transfer window. At this stage, Arsenal and Chelsea are believed to be the most active clubs in the race. PSG could still keep a close eye on developments as they continue to focus on recruiting young players with high potential.
