Real Madrid wants to reach a new financial milestone through its jersey deals. According to AS, the Spanish giants are currently negotiating the extension of three key partnerships: Emirates, Adidas and HP.
The Madrid club needs money. A lot of money. And it intends to increase its revenues through its main partners: Emirates, Adidas and HP.
Real Madrid targets record shirt sponsorship revenue
The renewal with the airline, the club’s main sponsor since 2013, is reportedly close to being finalized. Discussions are also underway with Adidas, the club’s historic equipment supplier since 1998, as well as with the technology company HP.
Real Madrid’s objective is clear: raise the revenue generated by its jersey to nearly €300 million per season, compared with around €260 million today. For comparison, Manchester United generates about €200 million, FC Barcelona €183 million, Manchester City €171 million and Paris Saint-Germain around €170 million.
